A Timely Instauration

I've been lax, to cut myself some slack, in posting lately.  To get myself, and you, back on track, I'm resorting to the Merriam-Webster word of the day:

Word of the Day March 15 instauration\in-staw-RAY-shun\ noun 1 : restoration after decay, lapse, or dilapidation

"Lorna in Wonderland" has been all of the above, but I'm rallying and intend not just to instaur, but to rejuvenate, refresh and rebound.

This video shows one of the most exciting and scary portions of our recent holiday---the drive along the coast from San Francisco to LA.  Not to worry, not all of that drive was captured.  Just enough to make me feel a sense of accomplishment totally unknown to my usually fearful self.

Dave and I have both downloaded photos, his in a disciplined and orderly fashion, mine in exactly the way you'd imagine a distracted, less than confident photo taker using Picasa for about the 300th time, without ever taking the tutorial.  Some of those, and lots of travel stories will follow.
