Phoebe lives in another city and we only get to see each other a couple of times a year. In one way, that's sad, but in another, it's like being given a surprise---like a well-wrapped gift. We've never seen her when we haven't been gob-smacked by how she's grown or learnt a new skill, and that is always such a delight.
Here she is with Robyn, the youngest of the granddaughters. I love the contrast.
However, for contrast, I think this is a good indication of how she's surprised us over the years. Blondes so seldom choose to go darker, but in her case, we can see why. Gorgeous any way you look at it.

This last photo has nothing to do with Phoebe, except that she took it when we were out in our "backyard" checking out the kayak run.
She's beautiful! What a lucky girl she is to have you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful whether young or old, eh?

What a lovely post about a beautiful ladies. Love the blond to dark hair. When much younger, I always felt cheated not to be blond. But then I lost interest as I matured. I am not thankful my grey is steel colored with some dark remaining, and not yellow grey.
ReplyDeleteall cute!!
